Online Advertising

Advertising o line seems like a trivial step in your marketing plan when you come to decide how to promote your business. But why? Why do we do it at all? Why do we do we choose specific paths when plotting our marketing plan?

1.      It looks easy – Whom of us didn’t hear of “that new 22 years old millionaire that made all his fortune online in 2 months”? Well…

He is not 22…

It did not take 2 months…

He is rich, maybe, not a millionaire just yet…

It takes months and even years if you are really brilliant and never, ever, make the same mistake twice, read about others’ experience 24/7 and implement their conclusions (that is assuming they told the truth…), optimize your work on the fly and also – never sleep…J

In fact, we are not all that bright, we do not learn from our/others mistakes so quickly, and we definitely cannot track this industry 24/7…

It takes a long time, and usually lots of money, to learn, to get the feeling, to sense the atmosphere and trends as they occur…

Once in a while comes more-than-an-average guy, has a premonition of what is about to happen (or takes a wild guess…), does the right thing – and vualla’!     – “a new 22 years old millionaire…” –

2.      It grows on us – evolution does that to people… the internet is no longer a stranger, and even if you are not 22 anymore, you realize that online presence is a must at some point, business wise.

3.      Diversity of revenue streams – business-wise speaking, this is simply another path of income that usually costs less, yet still generates nice figures in the end of the month…

That is, again, if you know what you’re doing…

4.      “Others do it” – yes, it turns out there is also “online pride and ego”…

A noticeable portion of online branding sites and advertising campaigns are only thought of after the competition has done the first step…

I could come up with dozens of other reasons, some make sense, and some do not. Bottom line stays the same; the internet is here to stay, and it became the number one promotion tool in the world, if I may exaggerate (just a little…)

The way I see it – knowing how it works is a must. Knowing how to make it work for you, that is the extra mile you can walk in order to leverage your product/ business/ initiative over the rest of the competition…

This is what we are here to do.
