The simple roles within a site:
Domain Owner: The ‘Domain Owner’ is the function who bought the domain, in most cases is also the website owner.
Webmaster/Programmer: The technical role that manages the website, and makes sure it “runs” smoothly.
Designer: Responsible for the site’s design, banners etc’.
Sales team/ person: Responsible for the advertising sales.
Keep in mind that it so happens that in small sites, these roles split between 1 or 2 persons, not more…
